Self Esteem: Making Champions of our Young People
Wednesday, January 3, 2024, 6:30 PM
This will be a simulcast event where catechists and formation leaders will be gathering in "watch groups" while our presenter will share his session with us. We only plan to share the login information to individual attendees in the event of inclement weather.
Parents, catechists, youth ministers, and educators are challenged to foster children’s and young people's sense of being lovable and capable, which are the core of healthy self esteem. However, we often succumb to the great self esteem myth that “we are to make them feel good about themselves!” This session will provide practical skills and strategies for genuinely enhancing our youth’s self image and identify fundamental life skills - even during that explosion called adolescence!
