Get ready for a high energy and spirit filled time with hundreds of other middle school youth from across Northcentral Wisconsin as we come together virtually in faith to celebrate the one true cornerstone of our faith, Jesus Christ!
Christ: The Center of My Life
We can get so consumed with life that if we’re not careful it can start to consume us. A call to holiness is really a call to WHOLENESS. A wholeness that can only be acquired when we embrace a life centered on Jesus. With the multitude of voices clamoring for our attention, it is sometimes hard to hear the voice of Jesus calling us out of the comforts of our earthly life into the greatness toward our eternal life. We will explore what it looks like to invite Jesus into every aspect of our life and to conform ourselves to HIS desire for us.

Can you tell me more about the Pre and Post Sessions? The Pre and Post Event Sessions are meant to work with the main Session led by Cooper Ray. These sessions are available in both PowerPoint and PDF Format. There are additional notes for each slide that you may reference when presenting, and where you can find the outline for the session. You will note that the sessions have an 'accordion' design so that based on the time length of your sessions it can be adjusted. In a practical way this means that there are likely MORE slides than you will use. You are encouraged to adapt the presentations to the specifics of your parish community. Pre-Event Session: The Pre-Event Session Theme is: Called to be saints. The lowercase 's' is intentional in the theme title. This session invites us to look to those who have gone before us in faith, taking seriously the call to put 'Christ in the Center' of their lives. The booklet section connected to this theme also includes 'scriptural call stories' of biblical figures who also put 'Christ in the Center'. Post-Event Session: The Post-session theme is: Keeping Christ at the Center. This session invites considering images of Christ from the most well-known art and beyond as a beginning point to considering how all people are to be seen as reflections of Christ. Materials for the Post-Event Session: Watercolor papers and paints. |
